Why Cyber?
In 1984, two influential movies, “War Games” and “Electric Dreams,” captured the imagination of a young boy. These films prominently showcased Artificial Intelligence and Technology, shedding light on both the vulnerabilities in security and the potential opportunities that technology could offer to enhance our lives, provided the risks are appropriately addressed.
I use my strength of “learning” to stay at the forefront of cyber security advancements, threat trends, emerging technologies, strategies and best practices.
My strength in “inclusion” enables me to foster an environment where diverse perspectives play a pivotal role in shaping priorities, fostering a culture of shared responsibility.
By “focusing” on the information provided by businesses and leveraging insights from data, I am able to make well-informed decisions and effectively prioritise cyber resources.
As a CISO, effective “communication” is crucial. I feel that strong communication skills enable me to convey complex cybersecurity concepts in a clear and concise manner to any audience. There is nothing better than a great culture of security awareness and understanding.
